Aveo5D Multi-Spectral Cameras

Multi-spectral

Across the full spectrum, visible day, SWIR, MWIR and LWIR thermal, in the resolutions and optics each mission needs.

Daylight, in full detail.

When the weather's clear and visibility's high, AveoDAY gives you the full picture with whatever optics you need.

AveoDAY camera mounted on a vehicle roof light bar
  • Optics for the mission. Resolution varies by model, with telephoto and motorized-zoom lenses for magnification.
  • Built into the wing. Some AveoDAY cameras fit inside aerodynamic, lighted wingtips.
  • Color, even in low light. Aveo5D adds a low-light color camera, so you see the world in color, not monochrome.
  • Free-standing or integrated. Standalone like every Aveo5D™ product, or built into Aveo lighting: Phoenix™, Genesis™, Nemesis™, the Sapphire family, Iguana Pods and the Aveo Pantheon™ family.

Through bad weather, day or night.

Aveo's SWIR cameras see in daylight, at night, and in poor weather. Paired with Aveo's proprietary IR illuminators, they add reflected IR light even in low-reflection conditions to produce a clear SWIR image, so helicopter pilots no longer have to compromise missions in IFR conditions.

  • Resolution. Sensors from 640×512 up to 1280×1024.
  • Optics. 9 mm to 900 mm, from normal to long range, with lenses matched to the mission.
  • Milspec. Meets military environmental requirements.

Long-range thermal observation.

A cryogenically cooled mid-wave infrared system built for specialized, long-distance observation, on platforms with the power to operate and steer it. Cryogenic cooling delivers long-range thermal imaging and needs active stabilization to hold the picture, designed for demanding missions where the platform can supply the power to run and maneuver the camera. Meets military environmental requirements.

Thermal that sees through cover.

Low-cost thermal imaging for low-light environments. Aveo's LWIR cameras give early detection of living and non-living bodies against their background, even when obscured by weather or foliage. Pair them with analog or digital night vision, SWIR or day modules, and stream the video to any Aveo onboard display or remotely over Aveo's video network. Sensors run from 640×512 up to the world's first 1920×1080 thermal sensor, with lenses and magnifications from normal to long range. Meets military environmental requirements.

Aveo5D Night Vision

Optics & fusion

Every part, built in-house.

Aveo5D designs every component in its digital and analog night vision systems, down to the optics. The only part it doesn't make is the image intensifier tube.

World-class optics. In-house night vision optics in 50° and 40° fields of view, fully mil-spec, and accurate to their stated performance.

  • 5D binocular housing. Built from Aveo's proprietary graphene-coated 3D SLS powder, so it's light and dissipates heat well. Two IR illuminators (850 nm and 1064 nm), and it articulates for inter-pupillary distance and field of view. With the 50° optics, you reach up to 85° FOV.
  • Hybrid Binoculars. A first-of-its-kind design. One side holds a standard night vision tube, the other a 640-resolution thermal camera. Your eyes fuse the two into one image: thermal and night vision together, in a light, low-cost package.
  • Trinocular System. Day, thermal and digital night vision cameras, all at 7× magnification, fused into one image across two OLED displays for a binocular view. Built-in Wi-Fi streams what you're seeing anywhere in the world.
  • Panoramic Quad Night Vision. A housing of Aveo's graphene-based SLS powder: light, and stronger than steel. IR illuminator, onboard and off-board (battery-pack) power, adjustable diopter, and collimation from the front of the housing. With the 50° optics, the field of view runs wider than the naked eye can see.

Aveo5D Micro Radars

mmWave sensing

Millimeter-wave sensing for any platform.

A line of micro radars for air, surface and ground platforms, each running at the millimeter-wave frequency its job calls for.

  • Altimeter and obstruction warning. A low-altitude altimeter that also flags obstructions in the platform's path.
  • Drone and obstacle detection. Picks up small drones, power lines, and objects near the platform.
04

Aveo ForceField Jammers

Counter-drone EW

Stop the drone, or take it.

A family of counter-drone jammers in many form factors, from small drones up to large helicopters and aircraft. They give your airframe a serious line of defense against drone threats and collisions.

  • Detects the drone. Reads a commercial drone's unique identifier code and the frequencies of both its data link and video link.
  • Jam it, or take it. Jam the drone completely, or take effective control of it.
  • Directional or 360°. Defend one direction, or the full sphere around the platform.
